Why you should apply for INES#talent 2021




  1. Being part of the INES#talent pool you increase your chances of being booked for a line-up including many up-and-coming artists from all over Europe.

  2. Because it is your n°1 chance of introducing your music to the organisers of 20 unique and respected showcase festivals, some of the best in Europe. Plus, your name will circulate among bookers and promoters.

  3. And finally, because being an INES#talent is a quality stamp given by festival organisers that will considerably help you in your future applications.


For 2021 the 20 INES#festivals together offer more than 70 slots in total to the artists in the INES#talent pool. Being an INES#talent does not guarantee that you will get booked by an INES#festival, but it does significantly raise your chances. In the past, more than two thirds of the INES#talents got invited to play at least one INES#festival.

Each booked #talent is offered a minimum package consisting of:

  • min. 250€ fee (plus VAT) per act and festival
  • Accommodation or compensation for accomodation
  • Basic backline (amp, drum kit, no guitars)
  • Festival passes and one conference ticket
  • Catering or buyout

NO compensation of travel costs! We recommend getting in touch with your national music export offices for support.

Each INES#festival nominates between 2 to 10 promising and export-ready artists from their own country to the INES#talent pool. In the following year, all INES#festivals will book foreign artists out of INES#talent pool.

How to become an INES#talent?
Every upcoming band from Austria, Czechia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, North Macedonia, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom can apply. The nominee has to be available for at least 8 out of 20 INES festival dates in the year to come.

Create a gigmit profile
gigmit is the digital infrastructure for INES booking. For your INES#talent application you will need to create a gigmit profile or log in if you already have one.
Optimize your profile
Your profile is your application document. Please make sure that all your information is complete and up-to-date, including images, links to your music and music videos. Connect your Facebook and Spotify accounts to see your FAN INSIGHTS directly on your artist page and make them visible to festival bookers.
Confirmation
At the end of the application you will confirm the conditions of participation. Once your application is submitted you will receive a confirmation email.

It's opening so many different markets to you! And discovering so many different fans, and sharing your music with different people. Sometimes when language is a barrier it also shows you what your music is. It is also exposing me to different stuff, so it is kind of also enriching me. I will apply to all INES festivals, cause they all bring something different to the table, big and small!

Your commitment and the nomination process
Availability
You should be available at min. 8 out of 20 festival dates.
Acceptance
You accept the offered minimum compensation package.
Agreement
You agree to your artist name being associated with the INES programme.
Application
Artists from all participating countries can apply.

Application deadline: July 31, 2021.
Nomination
Each INES#festival selects between 2 to 10 artists from its own country out of the applicants and nominates them to the INES#talent pool.
Announcement
The INES#talents 2021 will be announced in October 2020, the INES#talent status begins with 01.01.2021 and is valid for two years.
