Held each spring in Tallinn, Estonia since 2009, TMW is one of the most acclaimed international music discovery festivals in Europe. TMW’s 3-day live music festival presents around 150 artists from various genres and scenes in Tallinn’s best venues to an audience of around 15,000 people and to 1,000 music industry professionals from international markets, Baltic-Nordic region and Russia. TMW’s 2-day hybrid-format (on-site and online) conference provides both inspirational lectures, strategic discussions and practical activities for musicians and music industry representatives. The festival connects artists with the industry experts also via dedicated mentoring sessions and one-on-ones; all aimed at taking your career to the next level.
TMW 2021 will be organised in line with the rules aimed at reducing the spread of the coronavirus applicable to public events. We are monitoring and following the global developments closely and aim to make an effort in including international talent to our programme. If due to the global situation the festival will be organised in a different or reduced format than anticipated, all applicants will be notified of the results. We are confident that we will be able to make the festival happen in 2021, but will, of course, adapt to the global context and keep all artists and partners continuously informed of developments. Our collaboration needs to be closer than ever.

WHAT WE OFFER
To all artists:
- TMW 2021 PRO passes to all artists/artist collective members and representatives that enable both physical and online participation in the music festival and conference, incl. an extensive artist education programme of workshops and mentoring sessions
- Exposure to around 1,000 music industry professionals and media representatives and an audience of 15,000 people
- Access to the TMW PRO online database and networking options with the region’s key music industry professionals as well as with selected international experts (bookers, promoters, managers, distributors, labels, publishers, A&Rs, music supervisors, agents, media & marketing specialists)
- Promotion to the national and international audiences
- Possibility to promote new releases of international potential
- The sound, lighting, backline and video equipment according to the submitted technical rider within the most suitable showcase and venue; all related assistance by professional production personnel

Conditions of this offer:
- The festival does not cover international travel or artist fees
- Once an artist has confirmed the performance, it cannot be cancelled without a solid reason (health, international travel restrictions or similar)
- All performances may be photographed, recorded or broadcast by festival’s media partners for promotion purposes. Details will be discussed closer to the performance date.
APPLICATIONS ARE OPEN UNTIL 20 JANUARY 2021
All applicants will be contacted in February 2021 via representative’s e-mail submitted in the application form. An e-mail notification will be also sent to the artists that will not get selected.
