About the event

SHARPE is a festival & conference showcasing fresh music from Slovakia, Europe and beyond. It will take place on 26-27th April 2019 in Bratislava at the cultural hub Nová Cvernovka which draws artists from all sorts of backgrounds (design, architecture, film, visual arts, music etc.).

The two-day event aims to present more than 30 artists on 6 stages. Genre-wise, it is focused on anything from experimental electronic artists, post-club music, fuzzy indie bands, shoegaze, post-jazz and more.

During the day, there will be a conference with panels, workshops, keynote, speedating and listening sessions with international guests and speakers. Most delegates/music professionals will be from Slovakia, Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary and Poland. But we will also have international delegates from UK, NL, DE, SUI and others.

By applying you agree to the following conditions: We can offer an artist fee ranging from 150 - 250 EUR + accommodation for one night, catering, basic backline and access to the conference part for all band members and the representative (manager) of the artist.

Sharpe Festival & Conference is part of INES - the Innovation Network of European Showcases.
