Beyond the Music Label Series - Diversity Edit is a global music performance competition series which takes place in Berlin, Germany. Musical talents spanning the genres of: Alternative, Pop, Rock, Jazz, R&B /Soul, and DJ categories are encouraged to apply. The focus for this particular series is to discover emerging artists who are female and/or from underrepresented groups. Beyond the Music Label Series (TM) was founded by serial entrepreneur, innovation expert and strategic producer, Jewell Sparks and is solely owned by BiTHOUSE Venture Group Inc / UNITED 17 Ventures UG. The series was first launched in the Fillmore District of San Francisco in 2010 and identified artists such as Greg Scott, Semaj the Poet, Dmitry Wild and more. Starting late June. emerging artists will be selected by our world renowned jury which includes experts from the music, media, film , television, fashion, consumer electronics, technology, and financial industries. Our goal is to help performers “monetize their creativity” by introducing them to innovative technologies, enhancing content creation, stage presence, and perfecting their stage performance. Our jury members are veterans in the music, media, apparel, equipment, innovation and financial industries from world class cities such as: Munich, Berlin, Beijing, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, London, Madrid, Barcelona, Rome, and New York.
Semi-finalists have an opportunity to perform both live and virtually starting October ‘21 - June ‘22.
Performance competition dates take place in October, January, March and June.
Competition finalists will perform in late June in Berlin, Germany.
Winners have an opportunity to perform at various festivals and awards shows throughout 2022 with the potential to win a cash prize, obtain brand partnerships, musical equipment, music placements, guest appearances on radio, musical podcast series and more.
