What is the Blue Horse (Blaues Pferd) Festival?
In the summer of 2019, inspired by small punk concerts on the Reitschule courtyard, we decided to create the Blue Horse (Blaues Pferd) Festival. The idea of bringing together various punk, rock, and ska bands for a winter weekend festival excited us. In January 2020, we made it happen for the first time, featuring over 10 bands from near and far in the Grand Hall. Despite a delay due to COVID-19, our second edition in January 2023 was a tremendous success. Now, our dedicated five-member organizing committee is committed to making this an annual event, fueled by passion and run entirely on a volunteer basis.
