Bio: Coming from a professional dance background, Claire Côté began her musical journey as a performer with the Voodoohop collective, which influenced her to start producing her own music in November 2016. She began producing as part of a duo project called quest:in:time, but after coming to her own, unique style, she went solo as ZAFTIK in the summer of 2017. The name comes from the German word for “juicy”- “saftig,” and this is her musical and performative vibe. California born, Vermont raised, Baltimore blossomed, she has been evolving in Berlin since 2013 and recently moved to Copenhagen in September 2019.
