In early 2018, Trap King Chrome released his second mixtape, "New Chrome City," for his birthday and followed it with a series of singles that significantly boosted his popularity. The mixtape included his hit singles "Murder 1" and "Not My Fault," which helped him surpass 100,000 streams for the first time.
In 2018, Trap King Chrome also landed a deal with East Africa's Number 1 Reality Show, "Nairobi Diaries" on K24, gaining trending success with each episode he featured in. His rising popularity led him to open for international rapper Rick Ross in Nairobi.
Collaborating with his business partner Spar for the UK Anthem, featuring some of the biggest stars in the UK Rap scene (Sneakbo, Yungen, AM (410), and Grief), elevated his career even further.
Balancing reality shows, music, and an emerging film career, Trap King Chrome launched his entertainment business, organizing events, creating YouTube content, and orchestrating Lady Leshurr’s first African tour.
After two successful mixtapes, Trap King Chrome is currently working on his debut album "Trap Season," set to release in 2020. His singles "Classic," "Victim" (ft. 6Beat), and upcoming releases from the album such as "Living It Up," "Monster," "Trap Season," and "Emergency" have built anticipation. Additionally, he is set to drop a new track "Think About Me."
Supported by Mystic Radio, Kiss TV, Home Boyz Radio, and several international stations, Trap King Chrome joined Mr Eazi's European Tour in 2019, performing in Dortmund, Zurich, and Berlin, and headlined his own sold-out concerts in Vienna, Amsterdam, and Istanbul.
After the corona virus pandemic in 2020Trap King Chrome took a small hiatus with his music career, however was still performing stand alone shows in South East Asia whilst also spending time raising his two infant sons.
Trap King Chrome is preparing for another tour in 2025 and plans to release a new EP and another album, along with introducing his GTP clothing line.
