THOSE GODDAMN HIPPIES stitch together carefully chosen sounds with desperately honest vocals.

Mixing acoustic and electronic elements to create a lush melancholic atmosphere for weaving melodies and personal lyrics. At times fragile and at times bold with declarations of hope, British born artist Tom Marsh’s band project is refreshingly insightful.
The ‘Hippies’ sound explores the area between singer songwriter and electronica. Utilizing synthesizers to translate simple guitar riffs, looping short melodic patterns to create intricate sequences, the band draw on their rich musical background as part of their inspiration.
After spending almost a decade touring the globe as a drummer, swapping London for a studio in Berlin and finally finding the peace and quite needed to begin writing in Vienna, Tom decided to focus all of his curiosity and energy into one project. After playing a number of live shows with fellow musicians David Leisser and Mike Seidl, what started out as a solo project quickly developed into a band.

After the successful release of their debut EP ‘Those Goddamn Hippies’ and with lead single ‘Drift’ entering the FM4 charts at number 12, the trio are currently back in the studio working on a new album.
Despite being a newcomer band, Those Goddamn Hippies already have a number of European tours under their belt, including successful showcase performance in London and Berlin.
