A stone's throw away from sunny Lake Constance in the southwest of the republic, extinct volcanoes cast their shadows over picturesque vacation resorts and picturesque landscapes.

In the midst of this idyll, as if in defiance, lies the town of Singen, steeped in industrial tradition. Brittle, laconic, with a shaky beauty and shyly frowned upon by the surrounding resorts.
Here the tone has always been somewhat harsher, the contrasts more visible. Music here is both an outburst and a reconciliation. With their blend of kicking alternative rock, punk'n'roll, a pinch of metal and a good dose of ass-wiggling pop, The Skegs have the radical soundtrack to the place and time.
In spring 2023, the four musicians looked back on various band projects, all of which had been put on ice. The hunger, the energy remained. They searched for each other, they found each other - the first notes they played together immediately made it clear: Yes!
The Skegs drive forward, pause, break into the listener's consciousness with cascades, only to become tangible in the next moment with emotional vocals and captivating melodies, moving them to dance or throwing themselves into the moment. 2024: They arrived, they stay. The Skegs.
