Hailing from Brixton, London, brothers Mensah & Kwame Hart, along with childhood friends Mark Lenihan and Marcus Harris, are ‘The Thirst’.

Deeply influenced by their Afro-Caribbean upbringing, they are especially inspired by Prince and Jimi Hendrix, embodying the fiery tones of those who refuse to be labelled.

Debut album 'On The Brink' (2008) received much acclaim and saw the band tour Europe, Chile, Japan & America, and support 'The Rolling Stones', 'The Sex Pistols' & 'The Libertines'.

With a string of explosive live shows across the globe including SXSW Austin Texas, Glastonbury, Hyde Park Calling, Isle of Wight Festival, & the prestigious Royal Albert Hall, 'The Thirst' are consistently rated as one of the UK's most exciting live guitar bands.

2015 sees the return of 'The Thirst' and the release of the band's 2nd album.

Reviews:

Keith Richards (The Rolling Stones): "The Thirst? - A great band"
Pete Doherty (The Libertines): "They play guitars like demons"
