From detailed and compelling free playing to interpretations of pieces by composers such as Carla Bley and Herbie Nichols, the trio investigate the possibilities of the organ trio as a flexible contemporary medium. They also enjoy plunging into areas that do recall the great organ tradition; groove and dirt are as much a part of the mix as sophisticated post-bop and out-playing.
