Their sound bridges a curious gap between Van Morrison, Joel Plaskett, and outsider artists like Daniel Johnston. You Can Count On Me, the band’s third album since 2008, has recently won Best Album of the year in Planet S Magazine’s Reader’s Poll.

The album is weighted with songs of forgiveness, acceptance, and understanding, which shouldn't come as any surprise given that the brothers volunteer regularly to perform at a local longterm care home. Their songwriting and delivery is honest, blunt, and heartwarming - descriptors that can easily be misread as trivial, but they ring so true in the context of this album. They capture a magic that just can't be faked. Even mastering legend John Golden (The Replacements, Sonic Youth, Black Flag) took the time to write them and let them know what a pleasure he had working on the record.

They have shared the stage with songwriters as diverse as John K. Samson (of The Weakerthans), Gordon Lightfoot, and Tom Wilson. They were invited to perform last summer at the Regina Folk Festival, and Gateway Festival, and have completed a coast to coast Canada tour in fall 2015, ending with four shows in New York City.
