The Busker is a 3 piece band who has had a very active 10 years in the local scene.
With its diversified sound from new retro to soul pop and funk, the band released tons of original material and even managed to snag the win for the Lovin' Malta Best Album of the year for ‘Ladies and Gentlemen’. Its last EP titled 'X' also spawned two number 1 singles in the local PRS Chart. The band has also headlined major local events, and performed international gigs touring countries like the UK and Italy. In 2023, The Busker won the Malta Eurovision Song Contest with the track ‘Dance (Our Own Party)’ and represented the country in Liverpool.
The Busker is Dav.Jr on Vocals/Guitar, Sean Meachen on Saxophone and Jean Paul Borg on Drums.
