The band is influenced by mostly British beat music and by southern rock from the USA. The genre/sound of the band can be described as fresh and dynamic with various drum patterns combined with significant reverb-drenched guitar riffs accompanied by catchy basslines.

Their first single 'My Hands' was released in April 2016 and it reached more than 15.000 views on Youtube. My Hands was released by many playlists worldwide and it was featured on one of England's popular music blogs called Alexrainbirdmusic.

The band released their first music video called 'With Me' in December 2016 which was welcomed by many hungarian music blogs.

The band supported many famous hungarian bands like Blahalouisiana, Ivan and the Parazol or Fran Palermo and played gigs at such famous places like A38, MÜPA or Dürer Kert, Akvárium, Barba Negra.

During last summer the band recorded two live session videos and in October the band released their first EP called Waste which was published by many hungarian music blogs.

At the end of 2017 the band was selected from 317 bands to the Hangfoglalo Programme which is a Cultural Programme in Hungary for young bands who get financial, promotional and press support financed by the Hungarian Cultural fund called NKA.

In 2018 the band supported Ivan and the Parazol on their Transylvanian Tour and the band was chosen to open the night for Kensington in Budapest at one of the biggest venues of Hungary called Barba Negra.

In late 2018 The Bluebay Foxes released their debut album 'NOW' and held a fantastic album release show at Budapest's most popular venue called Akvárium.
At the beginning of 2019 the band was chosen to be one of 8 hungarian bands for the NAGYSZÍNPAD tv show organized by the Sziget Festival, hungarian national tv and radio which is a talent programme for upcoming new hungarian bands.
The Bluebay Foxes managed to get to the finals of the show where they were chosen to perform at ESNS 2020.
