Founded in March 2009 by 6 former friends, Tëschegas is a luxemburgish Metal Band, singing their own compositions in their native language, which is quite unique.
Our Live performances are quite "impulsive" with lots of movements on stage, such as our "Pyramide of Death" (ok, we copied it from the Scorpions), jumping and running around and attempts to get the fans involved into the show. All of it is brightened up by our decorations and dresses.
Our first single, as our first album "Industrielle Läichendingscht" (Industrial Funeral Parlour) had as main theme the fall of the economics and industries leaving to the east, as other critical views on society.
Our second Album "Et war net keemol" ("It wasn't once upon a time") comes out in Spring 2015 and has "Fairy Tales" as subject. Of course it is a reflection of today's society seen in a funny fantastic way... like, "Football Legends", "a Prince called Blind Jhang, who didn't fall, but failed in love", "The boy driving a Vespa and feeling like Tom Cruise in Top Gun", "Melusina, an avaricious luxemburgish mermaid", and so on...
Please note, that our website www.teschegas.lu is actually under reconstruction, as we are tearing down our old industrial site and rebuilding our new "fairy tale amusement park". But you find us on facebook for further informations.
