I was set to open for the Killers this summer, the entire tour was cancelled due to the war. Before Russia’s invasion, I was living in Kyiv but my producer was Russian. He asked me to come to Russia now and denounce Ukraine. I chose to support Ukraine and cut all ties with the russian team, losing my music career.

Now I’m in London. I’ve translated more than a dozen songs into English and because of the war, I want to move completely away from singing in Russian.

I’m extremely hard working and determined to get my music career back on track!
