Tall Stories are a post-punk outfit from the Midlands.

Consisting of Louis Griffin (lead vocals and guitar), Ollie Hill (bass guitar) and Fran Hall (drums and backing vocals), the band formed in January 2018. They have spent the last two years gigging around the West Midlands, including providing support for indie legends Swim Deep at Birmingham’s much loved Sunflower Lounge in June 2019 and for The Novus at their Muthers Studio sellout in April 2019. The band were also one of the winners of Truck Festival's Band App competition, beating thousands of other artists to open the Market Stage in July 2019. As well as these gigs, the trio have played headline shows at the Dark Horse and the Sunflower Lounge in Birmingham this summer. Tall Stories have a wide range of musical influences, from 80s alternative to britpop, modern punk and electronic music. Currently, the band is particularly inspired by artists such as IDLES, FONTAINES D.C., and Sports Team. On 1st April, Tall Stories released their debut single Lost in Translation. Their latest offering, Concrete Heads, arrived December 20th, and has received airplay on BBC Introducing.
