With a unique instrumentation of two horns, acoustic drums and three laptop artists, this ensemble brings together uncompromising experimental sounds with ruthless Nigerian beats and rhythms. Acoustic sounds are digest and transformed through cutting edge live-coding software, to create a futuristic sonic-hybrid of digital africa.

Since its foundation in early 2015, the ensemble has become a festival favourite, playing at SOTU, REWIRE and State-X New Forms, as well as various local venues, gaining reputation in the local underground scene. STOKA is now working on its debut album, which would be released by Søvn Records.
