Sophie&theSummer
is the solo project in which the musician Stefanie Richter adapts various favourite female songs and gives them away as ear drops - fresh and finely arranged and performed in several languages.
The voice and instruments are transformed into exciting structures with the looper and beautifully relaxed pop chanson with various effect pedals.
Involves electric cello, piano, ukulele, synthesiser, glockenspiel and a gentle voice.
New to the programme are profound soul pieces and her own compositions for electric cello.
