This towering wall of melancholic noise started to come together when the classical voice of Karla Lesley Jaeger invited fellow musicians to join her project. In her words, this developed into something “magical and mystical”.
SKAAR recorded their debut album in Glasgow with Tony Doogan (Mogwai, Belle & Sebastian). Moving towards alternative pop rock, the new songs promise to be intensively catchy and and beautifully mesmerising. The singles "Manic Moonlight" and "MIO" were released in 2018, while the album "Feed Me To The Stars" will be released 15th February 2019.
SKAAR continues to win over yet more hearts and minds around the world with their mind-altering live shows, and is ready to hit the road again for their album release tour in March/April 2019.
