A Sharmans show is something you don’t forget.

It’s intense, emotional, sometimes even uplifting—then suddenly it twists into something darker, louder, and stranger. Their music builds tension, breaks it apart, then lifts you somewhere else entirely. Romantic melodies meet gritty analog synths, heavy grooves collide with eerie silence. On stage, they mix raw energy with sarcastic humor and a kind of unfiltered joy that cuts through the gloom. People leave their shows surprised, speechless, and more curious about what real alternative music can be.

Or as guitarist Mantas Zigmantas says: “Since our texts have no lyrics, the listener is forced to hear so much more.”

The band formed in 2020, but the story goes back much further. The members had been friends—and making music—since the early 2000s. They studied music together, played in different bands around the world, but only during the stillness of lockdown did they come together. No shows, no distractions—just the right moment.

They always knew the kind of sound they wanted: somewhere between synthwave, darkwave, progressive rock, and space rock. Their debut album “Diary of a Droid” (2023) explores how technology reshapes the human condition—quietly simplifying thought, dulling instincts, and leaving us on the sidelines. Their second album “In Person” flips that completely: it’s about being human in all its messy, emotional complexity—no filters, no interfaces.
