Kristian Gaarskjær’s musical alter-ego, now extended with producer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Søren Vestergaard, are creating their own blend of darkfolk, indie and electroamericana.
On their new album Roots, Select Captain return with a collection of songs that lie in the field between modern folk and atmospheric indie rock. It's an album that point forward and add new colours to the duo's peculiar soundscape, whilst still peeking back on their earlier sounds and songs.
Traditional and modern at the same time with lyrical themes centered around the grand moments of life.
