Riders Connection, have created a debut album that advances on the sound that they are known for, their unique blend of reggae, soul and folky blues, and the inventive arrangement of funky beats created by the ingenious talent of member Mortiz, who produces all the drum sounds with his mouth. The floor-filling beats with groovy baselines from bassist, Alexsej form the core rhythm section throughout the album. Singer & guitarist Philipp, adds an authentic expression of passion through his dynamic and captivating vocals which showcases his command of melody and ablity to imitate the sound of a trumpet, which can easily be mistaken for the real instrument itself. Riders Connection have incorporated their love for Reggae, Hip-Hop and electronic music, producing 10-tracks of flawless, original music, forming a fun and uptempo album that has the subtle touch of summer hip swaying grooves.

Colour is the theme for the album, using different colours to express emotion and a symbol of freedom. Colour Me, shows off the 2 sides of the band, a soft emotional side that is more serious and emotional, and a playful summer side that is more easy going and positive, this is a representation of different colours and how they can be connected to different styles of music and what influences the band.

Watching Riders Connection perform live is a show stopper to say the least, with a subtle injection of humour, and sing along-able choruses, boosted with sweat and an unified experience, you can be sure to leave after their concert smiling, still singing-along to their songs and wanting to continue dancing the night away.

Mit seiner hochkonzentrierten Dosis Sommerlaune lässt „Colour Me“ sofort die Sonne aus den Lautsprechern scheinen. Mit einer Mischung aus frischem Off-Beat Reggae, garniert mit einer Brise Folk und Blues sowie entspannten Beatboxing-Beats, setzt der Song unmittelbar ein Gefühl wohligen Behagens frei. Kredenzt wird uns die namensgebende Single des Debütalbums vom Berliner Trio „Riders Connection“. Die „Farbe“ wird hierbei als Ausdruck von Emotionen verwendet und steht außerdem als Symbol für Freiheit. Konkret beschreibt der Titel einen Prozess, bei dem wir durch erfolgreiche Verarbeitung von Trennungen und Verlusten, anschließend gestärkt und auf gewisse Weise als neue Menschen daraus hervorgehen können. Stilistisch spielt die junge Combo mit und überschreitet zugleich auf unnachahmlich charmant-lässige Weise Genregrenzen. In ihren Titeln vereinigt sie einen einzigartige Genre-Mix, in dem sich ihre ganz eigene musikalische Handschrift offenbart. In ihrer Welt geht es um das liebevolle Sich-Verbinden.
