Beide gründeten dieses Projekt im Januar 2015 um sich musikalisch gemeinsam weiter zu entwickeln. Zu dem musikalischen Konzept zählen vor allem Einflüsse aus dem elektronischen Musikbereich bestehend aus Progressive House, House über Electro bis hin zur Einbindung von EDM Klängen. RICH KIDS soll vor allem für die Vielseitigkeit in diesem Bereich stehen. Um diese zu erreichen produzieren die beiden unter anderem Ihre eigenen Songs und werden im Laufe der Zeit diverse Remixe auf den Markt bringen. Durch ihre Jahrelange Erfahrung als DJ´s können die RICH KIDS auch Live jeden Club und jede Halle zum Beben bringen.

Steven Fürstenau aka Dj Def Jam - ist bis jetzt eher in der Blackmusic Szene zuhause und dort mittlerweile über die Landesgrenzen hinaus bekannt. Aber auch der elektronische Bereich prägte immer wieder seine musikalische Entwicklung, sodass er schon zahlreiche eigene Remixe auf dem Markt hat. Diese Remixe weisen auch viele Elemente der elektronischen Musik auf. Er war sofort begeistert von dem Projekt RICH KIDS und wollte unbedingt dabei sein um sich musikalisch richtig ausleben zu können. Als DJ ist Steven Fürstenau bereits seit 1999 tätig und hat bereits in zahlreichen Clubs und auf zahlreichen Events gespielt. Auch hat er schon mit Künstlern wie Hot - Rod (G-Unit), Harris, B-Tight oder auch Dj Tomekk an den Plattentellern gestanden und mit ihnen gemeinsam die Partycrowd gerockt.

Tom Kleber aka Dj Da-Go - ist schon immer im elektronischen Bereich zuhause. Seinen Künstlernamen legte er 2010 ab und ist seit her nicht mehr unter dem Namen Dj Da-Go aufgetreten. Er nahm sich 2010 eine künstlerische Pause und war kaum noch in Clubs unterwegs. Auch Tom Kleber war sofort begeistert von dem Projekt RICH KIDS und brauchte für seine Entscheidung keine Bedenkzeit. Als DJ ist Tom Kleber seit 1999 tätig und hat in seiner aktiven Zeit als Dj Da-Go unter anderem mit Künstlern wie Tomcraft, Moguai, Boogie Pimps, ATB, Tok Tok & Soffy O und vielen mehr auf den Bühnen gespielt und die Partycrowd gerockt. Er freut sich auf eine neue Herausforderung mit dem Projekt RICH KIDS und der damit verbundenen Wirklichkeit eigene Songs produzieren zu dürfen.
