Richard has won North East Keyboard entertainer of the year in 2018 and 2020, things went from strength to strength, Richard now attends Sunderland University studying B.A. Music.

Having taught himself to play organ, piano, keyboard and brass, He is now going for ABRSM. Richard enjoys playing live music in a variety of styles . He considers himself lucky to call the North East home, having not only the considerable heritage of Durham city to draw on but also the styles from all over the world having had experience in New Zealand and Australia that have fed into it over the decades, as well as the music culture of the western culture.
