If it had to be categorized, their music could probably be described as post-rock or psychedelic rock, while also drawing inspiration from jazz and avant-garde music.

In the fall of 2020, the founding members were joined by Andrzej Sieczkowski and Dawid Śliwiński. All band members have been actively involved in Łódź music scene for many years. Occasionally, Polski Zespół plays with a brass section (trumpet, trombone and saxophone).
