Jorge composed several electronic, experimental & ambiental tracks for several years and was invited by his record label (Ethereal Sound Works) to make an album out of them.

In 2007 Jorge composed several songs aimed to integrate OZ's album and other tracks were rearranged using the musician's current synths and recording hardware.

At the same time, David Reis listened to some tracks and transformed them definitively adding great vocal lines, lyrics, guitar tracks and fresh ideas. By then, Mario Amora (guitar/bass), Luiz Ferreira (drums/programming) and Paulo Barreto (guitars/vocals) began working actively with Jorge on the project’s tracks.

The sound becomes richer and mature, and then, the solo project became a collective project.

“Voyages” pre-production (intermittent) was recorded in the "Land of OZ" studios (Porto), David Reis' homestudio (Almada) and Ultrasound Studios (Braga) with several guest musician appearances between 2007 and 2009. Meanwhile, Barros Onyx (Dark Wings Syndrome) and Susana Silva joined OZ completing the band's line-up.

The album "Voyages" was produced mixed and mastered by Rui Ferreira [CAPS] and was released in Novwember 2011 under Ethereal Sound Works label.
