Katlin upholds the indie folk tradition of the rolling stone. After years of relentless travel, a mentorship with Paul McCartney, and a gold single in Norway have eventually led him back to the harsh winters of his home on the Canadian prairies.
In 2017, while exploring both modern recording technology and traditional analog methods, Okay Mann teamed up with Norwegian producer Nils Børstrand to record his debut release, Little Mersey - a snapshot caught on magnetic tape of a city left behind. The 8 song EP quickly racked up hundreds of thousands of streams on Spotify, and was called “A full-circle reverie of the finest order” by Dominionated and garnered many new fans, such as Audiotox: “We think Okay Mann has the potential become 2018’s next indie-radio wonder.”
After some time writing and recording in Oslo, Winnipeg, and Vancouver, Okay Mann is back. A buzz is starting to gather surrounding each follow-up release - a string of singles leading up to his sophomore release.
