Nolya is the alternative pop experience, a journey to the farthest corners of the musical world: John Frusciante meets down-to-earth Radiohead and dance together to Cindy Lauper.

Mehrere Jahre probierten sie mit Sounds, Songs und Bandnamen herum, bis das Konzept der Band stand. Das Ergebnis fassen die 4 Nordhäuser Klangtüftler namens Nolya auf ihrem Erstlingswerk Pean zusammen. Elf Lieder entstanden in Zusammenarbeit mit ihrem Produzenten Frithjof Rödel (Northern Lite, The World Domination). Die Kompositionen orientieren sich an Vorbildern, wie John Frusciante, Radiohead oder Nirvana. Dabei trifft organischer Bandsound auf synthetische Klangebenen, Rockmusik trifft auf sphärische Popmusik. Zusammengehalten wird dieser Mix von der unverwechselbaren Stimme des Sängers Max Grätsch. Sie bereichern mit ihrem Oeuvre die Popmusik um neue Rhythmen, Melodien und Akkordverbindungen.
