Genre-transcending,
his music is best described as unplugged
melodic heavy metal, but that doesn’t mean
that melancholic post-grunge ballads, gypsy
romps and falsetto chill-out loungers don’t
find their way onto his eclectic albums.
A nomad since age 20,
travelling troubadour NIR BLU
has played his original music in Austria,
Sweden, Greece, Israel, Vancouver, Ottawa
and Montreal. He released his debut Album
"Sleepyhead" on May 27th, 2009.

The album Egress was recorded
as NIR BLU was packing to move out
west for good in 2010,
while finding his place on the West
Coast of Canada NIR BLU only released
Egress as an online download.
