Originally, he took up the guitar at the age of 12, but in time his desire to sing grew on him. He made his first attempts in composing for the guitar as a high school student and shortly thereafter in songwriting. He graduated The Music Academy in Plovdiv with both classical and pop & jazz guitar

After making his TV debut at the age of 20 as finalist of The Voice of Bulgaria he took first steps as an indie artist.

At the end of 2020 Ilin made his debut by the name of Ninio (niño in Spanish), which is a nickname which originates to his childhood, but he decided to make part of his careerpath as a reflection of the way he plays with music in the process of creating.

His first LP "The First 7" was released in 2023 and presented with his NEW live project NINIO & The Groovers.
"Teender" is his latest LP which averts from the funky, alt vibes of the first and touches on a more sensitive side of the artist's being.
