After a few changes, their lineup was completed in 2012 and the band has been rocking the stages all over Germany ever since. The multi-facetted melodies funky rhythms and hard guitar riffs featured by Mr.Serious+TheGrooveMonkeys remind the listener of a mixture between the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Audioslave. Mr. Serious + The Groove Monkeys,
das ist eine fünfköpfige Groove-Rock-Band aus Weilheim i.Obb.
Nachdem es in der der ersten Phase ab 2010 einige Wechsel in der Besetzung
gab, ist die Gruppe nun seit September 2012 in ihrer finalen Konstellation auf den
Bühnen Deutschlands unterwegs und erspielte sich eine Fangemeinde von
Garmisch bis Lübeck.
Jeder der ernsthaften Affen hat bereits langjährige Bühnenerfahrung und bringt
jede Menge musikalisches Know-how mit in die Band.
Ihre abwechslungsreiche und eigenständige Mischung aus Melodie, Funk und
harten Gitarrenriffs lässt Einflüsse von Bands wie Red Hot Chili Peppers und
Audioslave, aber auch Tool erkennen ohne diese zu kopieren.
Im Funk und Groove verwurzelter Bass, bluesig bis metal-geprägte E-Gitarren
sowie Drumbeats mit treibender Präzision und Einfallsreichtum bilden das
Fundament für Gesang der unter die Haut geht.
