“The bastard offspring of the Jesus And Mary Chain meets a seriously twisted and distorted version of Weezer.” Mouses are guitarist and vocalist Steven Bardgett and drummer Nathan Duff, a lo-fi garage rock duo from Billingham renowned for their raw and energetic live performances and a tendency for gig induced self-destruction.

Formed in early 2014, they have built a growing
reputation for their unique sound, combining surrealist lyrics and playful melodies in a whirlpool
of fuzzed-out, frenetic punk rock.

As heard on BBC Radio 1 (featured as Huw Stephen’s ‘Tip Of The Week’), BBC Radio 6, BBC
Introducing and Amazing Radio; Mouses have burst onto the scene with festival appearances at
Reading and Leeds, Liverpool Sound City, The Great Escape, Evolution Emerging, Twisterella,
Stockton Calling and Olgas Rock Festival in Germany. They released their highly anticipated
debut album, ‘The Mouses Album’, on 23rd September.

“Packed full of youthful exuberance, their debut is bursting at seams with all the vigour and vitality
of being a 20-something, effortlessly balancing it against the anxiety and neurosis that comes
packaged with it. Essential listening.” – CLASH

“...this is a debut that can be described as nothing less than wholly exhilarating - Mouses have
cemented their well-earned stance within every single alternative playlist from now until the end
of time.” - NARC

“Engaging in an aesthetic as abrasive as it is melodic, they deliver a set which is equally stimulating and forthright, a determined tour de force which captivates and excites” – Liverpool Sound City

“It’s immediately apparent as to why there’s a buzz surrounding these guys, from a local scene point of view they’re the most interesting band around at the moment. It’ll not be long before this infectious duo is making waves throughout the rest of the country and beyond.” – Louder than War
