In the center of the songs float Hannas Vocals. HipHop and electronically influenced beats give Metryks songs their unique expression.
Metryks produce all their music from the first note to the master themselves. Therefore singer Hanna, sound designer Falk and bass player Arne Peleikis work a lot in their home studios. They write their songs online using cloud software. Some tracks of their etheral electro pop album „Gold of Pleasure“ were recorded in a summer house near Berlin which was turned into a recording studio for this purpose. Before they found Metryk, Hanna had a solo project called „The Love“. Falk and Arne played in a Modern Hardcore band named „Shine Bright“.
Their dense and organic sound is supposed to be an alternative draft to the minimalistic
sound of todays pop music. Metryk acquire there influences from HipHop, Psychedelic and modern Electronic Music.
Metryk played their first show at the Freifeld Festival in Oldenburg in Summer 2014 and will brought their complex sound to the stages early 2015.
