After a few local gigs, Meat My Mum wanted to be more than just another generic metal band and started to work hard and with very much effort on new songs and playstyles. It eventually came to some internal crises and the band had to depart from a few members and change their line-up in order to be able to act out their whole passion of being a band and playing music as musicians but also as friends. The band visited many new places all-around in Germany and even neighbour-countries and got to learn many new bands and friends. With their growing internet presence, Meat My Mum gained alot of new fans and attracted a bigger audience all over the globe. In early 2012 the band announced its first 5 track EP 'The Misgiving' which was released on September 2012. Always looking for new bands to meet and places to visit, Meat My Mum are a young ambitious 5-man project with members at age 18-22 by now, working on a new EP 'COLD/HEARTED'

Als Funprojekt gegründet, starteten Meat My Mum ihre Karriere im November 2010 als 6-Mann Band. Nach nur wenigen lokalen Gigs wurde der Band bewusst, dass sie mehr als nur eine von vielen New Wave Metalbands sein wollten und so begann Meat My Mum hart an neuen Songs und Spielweisen zu arbeiten. Meat My Mum spielte viele Gigs überall in Deutschland und auch in Nachbarländern und lernte mit der Zeit viele neue Freunde und Fans kennen. Mit stets größer werdendem Internetauftreten gewinnt Meat My Mum bis heute eine steigende Anzahl an Fans auf der ganzen Welt und erreicht mit ihrer Musik eine höhere Anzahl an Leuten. Anfang 2012 kündigte die Band ihre erste 5-Track EP 'The Misgiving' an, welche im September 2012 erschien.
