Influenced by electronic, classical and traditional Colombian music.

MATEUS looks for an exploration of electronic music, creating an orchestral atmosphere. Varying from Dj sets, to live shows with his band, he creates a very special, experimental sound on stage. Also colaborating with different instrumentalists MATEUS can be heard acoustically on the piano or accompanied by String Quartet.

MATEUS spent his youth in Colombia and the USA before studying composition in Vienna - Austria, his current home town, where he channels numerous creative impulses and various cultural influences into this project.

As a composer his works have been performed in Colombia, Germany, South Africa, Taiwan and Austria, e.g. at the Wien Modern Festival. As a DJ he was invited to numerous venues, among them the Vienna Konzerthaus and the Vienna Fashion Week.
