The band is the result of a long standing collaboration between George Solonos, guitarist, and Chris J, drummer.
The duo are not strangers to success, both on national as well as international level.
Their efforts landed them the honor of participation in four tracks of Tommy Lee’s “Methods of Mayhem”. Following this success, they teamed up with talented frontman Francois Micheletto and bassist Taf.
The result of this formation was the band’s debut album, “Add To Wishlist”, released in February 2012 by Infinity12 Records.
Most recently, the bands second album entitled
“Mind Your Head” was released (Feb 27th, 2014) including 11 fresh, original tracks.
It is worth noting that in early 2013, Marianne’s Wish won the national Hard Rock Café battle of the bands competition and later got 8th place out of 10.000 bands competing worldwide.
The band has recently returned from the US, playing in Brooklyn New York, South by Soutwest festival (Austin Texas) and at the famous Whiskey A Go Go in Los Angeles, together with additional stage members Antonis Loizides (bass) and Constantinos Amerikanos (guitar).
In addition, Marianne's Wish performed at the historic venue Water Rats (Bob Dylan, Oasis first UK show) in London in June.
