In 2021, they were chosen "Band of the Year" at the Estonian Music Awards. It followed a year of heroic acts during the pandemic: doing a concert on top of a moving bus 3,5 hours among other unprecedented gigs. The essence of the Dancemachine is to be a unified apparatus that hypnotizes crowds. It happens every time they play regardless of hype or previous run-ins with the band from the audience.
Every LP they've made is a concept album that explores fresh territories. On their latest 8-track LP "Lexplosion II" (2020), they drew inspiration from broken beat and nu jazz with extended DJ-friendly rhythm tracks. However, LSDM débuted with the street-funk LP "Deus Lex Machina" (2015), followed by the latin-jazz, disco LP Sunny Holiday in Lexico (2017). From these “Beef Grinder" and "Coconuts" have given the crew continual radio love from BBC and stations all over Europe.
Evident from their UK-tour, Pori Jazz and Imagina Funk live shows, LSDM is a superb live band that wows any crowd they play.
