Lamb in Wolfskin - sounds like Jimi Hendrix and Depeche Mode gathered for a session.

„…I love to add all kinds of sound effects to my guitar sound and create a space where vocals and lyrics find their own dimension to exist …
… key musical influences for me were artists like Jimi Hendrix and Depeche Mode just as others like The Doors, The Stranglers, The Cure, Paul Oakenfold, Herbie Hancock and the early Limp Bizkit and Linkin Park…”

The lyrics talk about people, lost, lonely, detached from a world that they can’t or won’t adjust to.

“… the space my lyrics live in has no need for linearity or cause. Words may follow parallel traits within a song and may even be taken up again in another. I rather view my songs as paintings, letting the listeners find and follow their own traits …”

Full Bio

Started singing and playing the piano and guitar when I was about seven. As a teen my main influence was Mr Jimi Hendrix – the way he sang and played the guitar - and I immersed myself in blues and jazz and classics. Formed my first band at 16, called 'Naked Lunch', after a Novel by William Burroughs. We played covers of songs by The Cure, Depeche Mode, The Stranglers, The Doors and B52 plus our own material.

When I moved to Berlin I founded 'Orange Sis'. We perfomed at venues like Dunker Club, Pfefferberg and Villa Kreuzberg. Orange Sis split after three years, the successor being '151 Husky Slid'. Over the next year later Husky Slid became regular band in Pfefferberg, Berlin, playing shows twice a month. At the same time I was playing bass for 'Voices of Neukoelln', a hip hop project run by some friends from Berlin. We toured West-Germany and had two TV-gigs and a record release at Tempodrom Berlin.

After about four years Husky Slid split and I focused more on playing jazz piano. I had stopped writing songs until 2002, when I took up writing again during a holiday in Sardegna, Italy.

In 2003/2004 I travelled through New Zealand and Australia playing small shows at bars and other venues. Since 2005 I have been based in Berlin, taking part in local projects with Max Moorman and remotely with Ken Schofield (Schofield Noisewall) and playing small shows in and around Berlin.

In 2014 I started a collaboration with Wojtek Wieckowski, a most talented guitar player from Poznan, Poland. We played some shows at small Berlin venues until he returned to Poland to pursue his own career as a painter and musician. Since then I have been working on new material and giggin in and around Berlin.

I was invited to SAE Studios in December 2014 for a recording session with two of their students, William Kite & Fadi Troit. Despite the short time available those guys did an awesome job and provided me with five new demo tracks as a Christmas present. All tracks were posted on my web site in 2014.

Late in 2014 Leslie Alan contacted me in pursuit of a guitar player to perform his material live on 9 January 2015, and we have since started working on the live version for his show.
