The Helsinki-based indie pop group Koria Kitten Riot is a happy mixture of alternative pop and americana with singer/songwriter roots.

Koria Kitten Riot began as a solo output for Antti Reikko. After recording two albums mostly on his own, KKR was turned into a five-piece touring band. Their third album, Rich Men Poor Men Good Men, was released in January 2014 by Gaea Records.

Rich Men Poor Men Good Men was recorded by Simon Frontzek at Radio Buellebrueck Studios in Berlin and mastered by Doug Van Sloun (e.g. Bright Eyes, First Aid Kit, Damien Jurado, She & Him).

The band's self-titled debut album was released in 2009, and their sophomore effort, "The Lows & The Highs", in 2011. In addition to Finland, The Lows & The Highs was released in Germany, Austria and Switzerland by the Munich label Kyr Records. The band played a German tour, received a fair amount of radio play, and was featured on the Musikexpress sampler CD.

The band have continuously kept touring their homeland and have opened for such acts as Tindersticks, First Aid Kit and The Last Days of April, among others.
