They are an explosive, energetic live act, complete with matching costumes, silly banter and wild dance moves. Formed of two members, Ruthie and Craig, King Wine loves to bring out the sincerity of bedroom dancing coupled with the warped nostalgia of classic Gameboy sounds. The instrumentation for all their songs is wrestled from two Gameboy Colors by Craig's masterful and weird pop brain, while the emotional lyrics that could be ripped straight from a teenager's diary (if that teenager had an English Lit degree) are yelped and crooned by Ruthie. Bringing it all together is a shared passion for 80s synth-pop and dancing only for yourself.

They're pretty confident that there is no other band out there that sounds and performs quite like they do. With a debut album on the way, King Wine are looking to build hype and make friends from all over!
