Expect raucous vocals, wild fiddle, punchy brass, thundering percussion and heavyweight bass. The whole band performs with swagger and without shame. Their purpose is to coax, seduce and tantalise audiences into the joy of dancing with abandon.
After several years wowing audiences on the UK music scene, four European tours, and festival slots at Boomtown, Nozstock, Y Not, Rhythmtree, Na jednom břehu (CZ) and Boardmasters, the Weirdos released their well received second album Kill the Beast this year with highly respected producer Gavin Monaghan (The Destroyers, Editors, Robert Plant). The Sam Redmore remix of the title track received airplay on BBC 6 Music from Rob da Bank and Craig Charles.
2015 looks set to be another great year for the band with another European tour, a new album being written and plenty of exiting UK dates on the horizon.
