As the son of a musical director who toured Europe with The Rocky Horror Show and many other shows over the last 30 years, he was immersed in the atmosphere of live music from a young age.

Later on, Jobie made it his passion and joined a gospel choir at university.

This led to him performing as a backing singer for The X Factor, Britain’s Got Talent and The Voice.

After 7 years of working on these shows, Jobie began his musical career as a solo singer and songwriter and in November 2021, he released his debut single ‘Crash’, a song he describes as a love song to his younger self.

When talking about his music and future releases, Jobie characterises them as “love anthems with a touch of heartbreak”: a repertoire fitting for those in love or healing from love lost.
