Originally from Madagascar, Hanta spent her childhood in several regions of the Big Island where she discovered the enormous musical wealth of the country.

She was introduced to music at an early age and was noted for her warm voice and artistic sensitivity. In 1986, she moved to France and was admitted to the Ars Nova Musicollege school where she perfected her art on the great classics of jazz, soul, blues, funk, pop ...

In 1997, Hanta released her first album “Avia” where we find original and personal compositions. In 2002 the Arion label produced its album "Rano" which presents the great musical styles of the island such as hira gasy, salegy, tsapiky, jijy, sôva and malesa, with a touch of modernity. Her vocal arrangements and the atmosphere of his album, sometimes melancholy, sometimes festive, seduced the public.

This great success goes so far as to open the doors of several festivals and concerts in France and abroad: Madagascar, Martinique, Belgium, Netherlands, Mexico, Uzbekistan, Benin, Libya, Japan, Tunisia… Her talent and her expertise being recognized by her peers, Hanta carries out several artistic collaborations with renowned musicians such as Jean Roussel, Hervé Cristiani, Sacha Pillois, Dama (Mahaleo), Justin Valiha and Régis Gizavo.
