Tallinn Music Week welcomes artists from every genre across the globe to apply for a chance to play at one of the most acclaimed international music discovery festivals in Europe.
TMW 2023 dates:
Music festival: Thu, 11 May – Sat, 13 May
Around 150 artists from various genres and scenes from all over Europe and beyond in Tallinn’s best venues play to an audience of around 15,000 people and to 1,000 music industry professionals from international markets and the Baltic-Nordic region.
Conference: Fri, 12 May – Sat, 13 May
Panel discussions, presentations and practical activities, including mentoring sessions and one-on-ones with industry professionals; all aimed at taking your career to the next level.
City festival: Wed, 10 May – Sun, 14 May
Daytime explorations across Tallinn from city stage gigs to art and cuisine.
Artists chosen to perform will be announced in stages from February – March 2023. The exact announcement date will be agreed upon in advance.
TMW offers
- TMW 2023 PRO passes to all collective members and representatives that enable participation in the festival and conference, incl. in the artist education programme of workshops and mentoring sessions
- Exposure to around 1,000 music industry professionals and media representatives and an audience of 15,000 people
- Access to the TMW PRO digital platform and networking options with the region’s key music industry professionals
- Promotion to the national and international audiences
- Possibility to promote new releases of international potential
- Professional production personnel as well as sound, lighting, backline and video equipment according to the submitted technical rider within the most suitable showcase and venue
Additional
- Transportation: airport or ferry transfer to the hotel
- Accommodation: twin rooms on a show night
- Catering (1 hot meal) on a show day
Conditions
- TMW does not cover international travel or artist fees
- Once an artist has confirmed the performance, it can not be canceled without a solid reason (health, international travel restrictions or similar). In case of cancellation without a solid reason, the artist may be subject to reimbursing costs made by the festival, related to their performance.
- All performances may be photographed, recorded or broadcast by the festival’s media partners for promotion purposes
