Recently crowned as a ‘secret hidden little paradise’ by the French newspaper Le Monde, Pete the Monkey Festival is a small and unique music and arts event set right by the sea. The festival is still in its early years but has already been praised in France for its exciting and original programming.
The festival lasts three days and offers on site camping, which is recommended. The ever exciting European line up is not usually disclosed until a few weeks before the festival. There is only a limited capacity of festival-goers and the vibe is intimate, friendly and creatively festive.

This year’s fourth edition of the festival is set to host a new wide range of emerging bands and artists all in support of a monkey sanctuary in Bolivia. Yes that’s right! A monkey named Pete was caught on video camera innocently washing up dishes in Bolivia, the footage went viral, (the dishes were sparkling clean) and the Pete the Monkey project was born. We really like this little boutique festival experience, and we’re excited to open up a booking opportunity for Gigmit artists.
