Jailhouse Gallery Music Festival

Do you want to play at an amazing venue in Berlin, get a great door-deal and help a good cause while at it? Then you came to the right place, the JAILHOUSE GALLERY! :-)

We, a Berlin-based charity organization, will be hosting a fundraising event at the former women’s prison (now event-location) in Lichterfelde in Berlin. It’ll be a three-day event at which 50 artists are exhibiting their work and will be donating the lion share of the money they raise there to our children’s charity “Art meets Education e.V.” www.artmeetseducation.de

With this charity we support financially disadvantaged children in the Philippines, so they can get a formal education right up until they have their high-school diploma.

The concerts will be the accompanying program to the exhibitions and will also raise money for the charity via the ticket sales. You and your band will get to keep 40% of whatever we make at the door at your gig. If you are from out of town we also might be able to throw in an overnight stay in one of the cells, of which some are now hostel-like lodgings. TBC though.
