Picking up the guitar aged 11, George went on to play his first show in 2013 at The Bodega, supporting Ryan Keen. He has since built a strong live following for himself gigging on the Nottingham music scene, playing regular shows in and around the city and appearing at festivals including Dot to Dot (2013 & 2014) and Splendour (2014.)
In late 2014 George recorded his debut EP ‘Peru’, self-releasing it on Jan 30th 2015 and playing a sold-out launch show at the Bodega Social Club that night. The EP went straight in at No. 14 on the iTunes Singer-Songwriter Albums chart, going on to peak at No. 10.
