Electronic sophisticated pop duo from Istanbul.
Fuji Kureta is an electronic pop duo; the members are Sahin Kureta (music-programming) and Deniz Ozturk (lyrics-vocals). They have been making music together since late 2008.
Hailing from one of the biggest cities in the world, Istanbul's Fuji Kureta want to marvel the whole world with it's electronic intricateness. The vocals are soft, the metaphoric lyrics are in English and sometimes in French, the melodies mellow, the beats complex and sometimes perturbative.
But overall the band's energy is a very positive one, inviting the listener to relax, and yet stay alert.
Their latest release YETUNDE is out on Jan 2015.
