"Anthemic belters, topped off by an unusually strident vocal style" - Kerrang!

“Simply stunning. Far from any genre out there today, this EP is both mature in its sound and bold in its direction” 9/10 - Dead Press

“‘Only Just Holding On’ marks out Forty Four Hours as one of the UK’s most forward-thinking but immediately accessible new bands" 4/5 - Already Heard

Forty Four Hours are a twin fronted three piece from Manchester UK. The redheaded twins and their hard-hitting drummer abuse the genre boundaries and don't' care if you think their schizoid alternative pop rock is too loud.

After forming in 2014 and releasing their debut single 'Earl Gray' with Tom Peters (AMTP, Jeremiah Ferrari) and Chris Coulter (Arcane Roots, EMP!RE, Trails) Forty Four Hours hit the road for a succession of UK tour dates, culminating in joining Funeral For A Friend on the Doc Marten's #standforsomething tour.

In January 2016, Forty Four Hours released their debut EP 'Only Just Holding On' to critical acclaim, with Kerrang! Magazine praising the bands' “Anthemic belters, topped off by an unusually strident vocal style".
